Rejoice the glory of India on this Republic Day!

 REJOICE THE GLORY OF INDIA

Republic Day 2021

-By SARAH KHAN

Embodying the power to my nation
When the land was occupied with dictation
My people endured the trauma
The rights of people were at stake
I read the plight of India
From books and social media
When people endured the trauma
There were no rules to follow or break
A jurist came to the spotlight
So determined to curb this fight
My people endured the trauma
Before Constitution stayed awake
When the formal code was implemented
The political agency was cemented
Observed the people who endured the trauma
The discriminations emerged as ache
The Constitution protected our rights
Controlling the injustice and poor sight
When my people endured the trauma
A fair judgement the law could make
Today the farmers are on the protest
Protested students are on the arrest
My people are enduring the trauma
Public is conformist, media is fake
I see the declining economy
Discerning change from British colony
My people are still enduring the trauma
Hoping for ideal nation in the wake

Hoping for ideal nation in the wake...

DESCRIPTION- The Republic Day that we celebrate today 26th January, was the day Constitution of India came into action during 1950. The Constitution was aimed to protect our freedom and rights. The current times are as challenging as before. The economy has reached the steep decline. The people had to struggle the Coronavirus pandemic and the situation is still not stable, though vaccines are into action. There's high crime rate and females in many unprivileged parts don't have enough freedom to pursue their careers. The everyday crimes, murders, rapes, suicides, unemployment, mob lynching have increased. People are demolishing temples and mosques, killing each other in the name of religion. Most of the media is sold and turning deaf ears to the communal hatred. The Constitution formed around 71 years before, is being violated. Films are being outraged and protesters are being attacked merely for using the Constitutional right to protest and the main issues are not been given attention. The public is being distracted from main issues.

There's a lot to learn from the history and aim for a better India.

Hope I could bring you the truth and it turned as an eye opener.

Babbye
