The curtain closes

not but a smile

a child,

bleak, troubled

not but a stolen kiss

a child,

A blood stained heart

You once promised me forever

tortured, blighted

gone with the wind

but darkness descends

not but a prayer

a dying rose on the table, a silver body

Dearly departed

I used to wait for the rain

not hopeless but perspired,

washed me,

the raindrops, fresh and wild

longing for the barren land

never ending desires

Passing by the windy lane

the breeze, kissed

kissed my soul

memories of a boy

flashed, reviving love

A heartbroken soul

Forgiveness,

to forever abolish

torn, torn

a girl,

a minute, a moment
